Sunken Brick Pit Oven with Underground Smoker
For players who prefer open-plan layouts, rustic underground bases, or cozy sunken living rooms, the sunken brick pit oven offers a unique low-profile design. Instead of rising upward toward the ceiling, this hearth is recessed down into the floor, creating a warm, circular fire pit surrounded by brick steps, smooth terracotta, and polished granite. The central fire is exposed, allowing players to gather around the warm, flickering light as goods bake in the subterranean chambers below.
Functionality is brilliantly integrated into the floor layout. Beneath the central grate lies a hopper network connected to concealed smokers, allowing food thrown directly into the fire pit to be collected automatically into chests set into the surrounding seating benches. Add cozy carpet cushions, barrel storage units filled with wheat, and wall-mounted torches to create an intimate, campfire-style baking pit that serves as both an aesthetic centerpiece and a highly functional gathering hub.
