7. The Nordic Alpine Pine and Ice Sphere
High atop snow-capped mountain peaks lies a build that captures the rugged beauty of the far north. The Nordic Alpine Pine and Ice Sphere fuses packed ice, snow blocks, and dark spruce logs with clear glass to build a cold-climate sanctuary. The lower half of the interior features a rugged, mountainous terrain made of stone, gravel, and coarse dirt, planted with tall spruce trees and berry bushes. Thermal hot springs, created using hidden magma blocks beneath water sources, generate steam that drifts through the pine needles. The butterflies inside are attracted to the warm thermal pools, darting between snow-dusted leaves and icy stalactites suspended from the dome’s sweeping roof support struts.
