9. The Alpine Pine Glider Walkways

9

Perched high on the side of a jagged, snow-capped mountain range, the Alpine Pine Glider Walkways bridge the gap between massive mountain-side pine trees and high-altitude cliffside bunkers. Built to withstand freezing temperatures and howling winds, these treehouses are heavily insulated with spruce wood, stone bricks, and packed ice accents. The suspension bridges here are masterpieces of rugged alpine engineering. They use heavy spruce logs, iron chain harnesses, and polished granite slabs to create a sturdy, wind-resistant walkway suspended over treacherous, snow-covered drops. Layered snow slabs naturally accumulate along the edges of the bridges, blending the man-made construction effortlessly into the icy mountain environment. Lighting is provided by cozy wall-mounted lanterns and glowing soul sand braziers that cast an ethereal blue heat across the frozen wood. Step out onto these high-altitude skyways to launch yourself with an Elytra, soaring effortlessly over the icy peaks below.
