16. The Sunken Desert Sandstone Sanctuary

16

Positioned near an underwater desert edge or ocean monument, the Sunken Desert Sandstone Sanctuary marries warm desert aesthetics with the cool ocean blue. Built using cut sandstone, chiseled sandstone, and warm orange-tinted glass, the build feels like a long-lost Egyptian ruin transformed into an exclusive subterranean teahouse. Soft yellow lighting from hidden glowstone casts a golden shimmer over the indoor water channels and tea tables.

The interior is detailed with potted cacti, dry bushes in flower pots, and rich orange and turquoise carpets laid out in intricate mosaic floor designs. Small aquariums filled with tropical fish are built directly into the sandstone walls, creating miniature displays within the macro underwater experience. The warm tones of the sandstone provide a cozy, sun-baked feeling even when submerged hundreds of blocks underwater.
