17. Giant Pool Noodle Chains
Create heavy-looking, industrial chains to drape across your graveyard, wrap around pillars, or hang from your roofline. To make these, slice grey, silver, or black pool noodles into thin, uniform rings. Cut a single slit in each ring, slide it through the previous ring to link them together, and seal the slit shut using waterproof hot glue or strong adhesive tape.
Once you have created long chains, lightly spray them with metallic silver, brown, and orange paint to create a rusted, weathered metal texture. These chains look incredibly heavy and authentic, yet they are feather-light and completely safe. You can drape them over your floating decorations, wrap them around tree trunks, or use them to cordon off “restricted” spooky zones around your backyard and pool area.
