2. Giant Pool Monster Tentacles
Turn your swimming pool into the home of a legendary sea monster with giant, curling tentacles rising from the depths. Using bright purple, neon green, or deep black pool noodles, you can construct flexible, lightweight tentacles that sway gently with the movement of the water. To make them bend and hold their shape, insert flexible wire coat hangers or PVC pipes inside the hollow centers of the noodles. Cut the ends of the noodles at sharp angles to create tapered tips, and use a heat gun or blow dryer to gently curve them into dynamic, reaching poses.
For the suction cups, slice contrasting colored pool noodles into thin round discs and glue them along the inner curve of each tentacle.
