15. Outbreak Warning Signpost
Add narrative depth to your outdoor setup with a rustic, post-apocalyptic directional signpost. Use a sturdy wooden post anchored in a bucket of concrete disguised with dirt and rocks. Nail several weathered, splintered wooden planks pointing in different directions to the post. Use stencils and black or red paint to write ominous warnings such as “Quarantine Zone,” “Safe Haven – 5 Miles (Crossed Out),” “Infected Area,” and “Turn Back.” Drizzle faux blood down the signpost and wrap it in rusted barbed wire (made safely from painted plastic or twine) to make it look like a relic from a fallen civilization.
