16. The Well-Dwelling Ghoul
Build a rustic, old-fashioned wishing well in your yard using faux stone foam blocks or a decorated plastic barrel. Make the well look ancient by covering it in artificial moss, dirt, and climbing ivy. Inside the well, position a terrifying zombie figure climbing over the edge, with its wet-look hair draping over its face and its hands gripping the stone rim. Install a blue or green spotlight inside the well pointing upward to illuminate the rising figure, and add a small water dripper or mist maker to create a damp, chilling atmosphere around the well, suggesting the creature has risen from the deep, dark depths.
