20. Glowing Toxic Swamp
Transform your lawn or a designated garden bed into a glowing, bubbling toxic swamp where zombies are emerging from the muck. Lay down a base of black plastic sheeting to create the illusion of water, and cover the edges with dirt, moss, and rotten logs. Place green LED strip lights beneath the plastic to create an eerie, radioactive under-glow. Position several zombie heads and hands breaking through the surface of the “water,” covered in faux slime and pond weeds. Use a low-lying fog machine to keep a thick layer of mist rolling over the swamp, completing a highly atmospheric and cinematic Halloween display.
