5. Haunted Cemetery Gates
Set a chilling tone right at the entrance of your property with a pair of gothic, decaying cemetery gates. You can construct these gates using lightweight PVC pipes painted matte black and distressed with metallic silver and rust-colored spray paint to mimic aged iron. Mount the gates on foam pillars carved and painted to look like cracked, moss-covered stone. To tie in the zombie theme, position two highly detailed zombie figures peering through the bars, their hands desperately gripping the iron pickets as if trying to escape the consecrated ground. Drape the entire structure in faux spiderwebs and Spanish moss to complete the ancient, forgotten aesthetic.
